Combating corruption is highly important to Getinge. Ethics and morality are the basis of all of our operations and are reflected in all relationships, both internally and externally. Our global anti-corruption policy is based on our company values and aims to ensure ethical behavior in all business dealings.

Supplier Code of Conduct

To ensure that our Code of Conduct is also upheld in the supply chain, all suppliers must pledge to comply  with the requirements in the Getinge Code of Conduct.

Whistleblowing policy

As a part of our Code of Conduct and anti-corruption policy, Getinge has implemented a global whistleblowing system under which employees have the opportunity to report any improprieties or deviations.

UN Global Compact

Getinge has signed the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative and supports the ten principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Conflict minerals

Some electronic devices in our products contain tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold. These metals are known as ‘conflict minerals’ because they may originate from the Democratic Republic of Congo where illegal armed groups control some mines and transit routes.

Getinge’s position is that the extraction of raw materials never should, directly or indirectly, support these armed groups.

We are committed to having a conflict-free supply chain. When conflict minerals are used, we will scrutinise our supply chain to ensure that these minerals are supplied by conflict-free sources.
