What do you do at Getinge?
I am responsible for sales across Asia Pacific for Cardiovascular products. APAC is a very diverse region both in culture and geography. It also provides you with the opportunity to work in both mature markets like Australia and New Zealand but also growing and emerging markets such as India, China and Myanmar. I also have the opportunity to work with a broad range of people and in very diverse teams and cultures.
What is the best part of working here?
At Getinge we have top of the line products, great teams and markets with growth potential especially in APAC - so very exciting all around.
What is the biggest challenge of working in Getinge?
Getinge is undergoing a very transitional period currently requiring us to set up new ways of working. Though this is quite demanding, it provides us with an opportunity to set up a good foundation for the organization for the future and also provides us with a lot of learnings.
Which of the values do you relate to the most - Collaboration, Openness, Excellence, Ownership or Passion?
Passion & Ownership. Working and delivering in a complex and varied market, it is really important to love what I do. By taking ownership I also ensure that I can successfully lead teams of great individuals. I am passionate about my job as I really feel that our cutting edge therapies and products helps to make an impact on the lives of people and patients.
How would you describe your Passion for life?
Working and collaborating with people is a true passion of mine and started from an early age when I was playing competitive sports. I love being part of a team.
