What do you do at Getinge?
I am responsible for the Leadership Development training portfolio, which involves planning and delivering leadership development programs cross-functionally across the globe in close collaboration with Functional HR, regional Academies and external training providers. An important part of my job is to ensure all training activities are strongly linked to our business needs and strategic challenges. I am currently working on different initiatives and solutions to maximize the impact of the training.
What is the best part of working here?
I love the global aspect of my job especially the opportunity to meet and engage with people from all parts of the world. I believe that it is in meeting with other people that we not only learn about others, we also learn a lot about ourselves. I also enjoy being part of the company's change journey, it provides a lot of room to shape and develop the work I do and it keeps things interesting.
What is the biggest challenge of working in Getinge?
We operate in a global matrix organization, undergoing a lot of change, so I believe the biggest challenge is how to deal with this uncertainty and ambiguity and find ways of working together in order to achieve our goals.
Which of the values do you relate to the most - Collaboration, Openness, Excellence, Ownership or Passion?
Openness, since I believe that a respectful, open-minded and a non-judgemental attitude is crucial for building trust. Trust is key in creating and maintaining effective and successful working relationships, and is therefore crucial for us in reaching our short-term and long-term goals.
How would you describe your Passion for life?
I believe that life is about learning from new experiences, and I would say that I am passionate about learning and discovering new things, both at work and in my private life. Working at Getinge definitely gives me the opportunity to explore my passion.
What I am passionate about in my work role is having the opportunity to make people grow and develop through our training programs. Working on different initiatives to ensure impact and to increase the likelihood of behavioral change after training is therefore something I truly enjoy spending my time on.
