Project management that meets customer expectations

The project management team follows PRINCE2 methodology (PRojects IN Controlled Environments). This methodology guides the way we organize and manage our projects to meet your expectations.

Project managers use a combination of documents and tools to ensure the scope, to verify the functionality purchased by the customer, ensure specific customer expectations are met, and ensure any technical requirements are documented at the beginning of a project.

Project managers review these documents with you in order to monitor, control and track the progress of the project according to our methodology.

Project management for on-time delivery and risk reduction

To ensure mutual agreement and set expectations, project managers create a draft timeline for review with your team and your stakeholders. As the project progresses, the project manager will adjust the timeline as agreed while working with all Project Team members to keep the project on track.

Along with managing the timeline, the project manager also tracks potential risks, both to the project and the timeline, and works with the project team to assess and minimize the impact of those risks.

Project management to support and manage team members

Once a project is fully documented and initiated, the project manager will verify work plans and timelines. These plans will be used to coordinate with internal resource teams to verify who will be assigned to the project and who will best meet the needs of the project.

The project manager will also work with Getinge’s global pool of qualified and experienced colleagues to ensure you get the best fit for your project.

Project management for effective and timely communications

Communications is a critical component of every project. Project management includes written details in documentation and communications, including phone calls and conference calls, leading up to, during, and following a project’s implementation.

The project manager coordinates all communications, conference calls, and documentation throughout the entire project. This includes determining the information and communication needs of stakeholders, distributing the information in a timely manner, sharing status reports and progress measurements, and gathering information to formalize the project’s completion.
