Transmaquet 1975/1955

Gentle and safe patient transfer without lifting.

Transferring patients from and to the hospital before and after an operation is a stressful and risky action for patients and the staff. Therefore Getinge offers different kinds of transfer options – one of it is the Transmaquet, a stationary transfer unit.

In a largely automated procedure the Transmaquet ensures gentle pre- and post-operative transfers. An IR remote control or the control panel can be used to control the transfer process. The maximum overall load for the patient transfer unit is 180 kg (396lbs). Depending on the hospitals needs there is one freestanding version available or with a window for installation in a niche for separation of the workflow.

Perfect interplay

A computer-controlled sequencing initiates each functional phase in chronological order. But a manual control can override automatic operation at any time. Large contact switches assist in recognizing of the bed or patient transporter and monitors for the correct height and position of the bed or patient transporter and the operating table top. After the transfer to the operating table top the Transmaquet automatically retracts to its home position.

Convenience and comfort

The transfer plate is automatically heated to 30° C (86º F) for maximum patient comfort. During the transfer, the transfer plate slides gently under the patient and the material of the conveyor belt is kind to the skin and resistant to disinfectants. Only one person is needed to operate the transfer unit.
