Getinge and Philips introduce integrated anesthesia workstation

Getinge and Philips have joined forces to offer hospitals an integrated anesthesia workstation for the operating room (OR). The new solution unites precise anesthesia delivery and state-of-the-art patient monitoring.

The integrated anesthesia workstation combines two leading anesthesia care and monitoring solutions: Getinge’s Flow Family Anesthesia Machines and Philips IntelliVue Patient Monitoring technology.

“This partnership represents a shared commitment to improving OR efficiency and patient care, and we see great value in collaborating with Philips,” says Juergen Kelch, Senior Director Commercial Operations Critical Care at Getinge. “This integration of two core medical devices supports high quality, sustainable and efficient care through real-time insights. With seamless connectivity and familiar user interfaces, the workstation reduces complexity and helps clinicians focus on their patients.”

Designed for connectivity, the two technologies communicate a unified language. This enables smooth exchange of data flow across systems.

The integrated solution is optimized for teamwork. All components work in harmony to support clinical teams and simplify operations. Users will also benefit from a single point of contact for both monitoring and anesthesia, which streamlines service, training, and support.

“Our partnership with Getinge is a response to evolving OR needs. By bringing together the best of two worlds, we provide a complete, connected, and clinician-friendly solution, which also offers the flexibility to unlock a complete patient view across hospital care areas and departments,” explains Brian Bell, Business Category Leader, Enterprise Hospital Monitoring at Philips.
