Getinge transforms sterile reprocessing with Automatiq - a full range of logistic automation modules
Getinge is unveiling Automatiq, a new family of next generation automated solutions designed to help Central Sterile Supply Departments (CSSDs) achieve safer, more consistent and less labor-intensive sterile reprocessing. Automatiq seamlessly combines smart robotics, intelligent conveyor systems and advanced software to optimize sterile reprocessing and enhance workflow efficiency at every step.
CSSDs play a vital role in infection prevention and represent one of the most precise and physically demanding processes in the hospital. During traditional manual processes, CSSD professionals encounter ergonomic challenges and repetitive handling, which can cause delays, strain, and errors. Automatiq supports these essential functions to improve reliability, save valuable time, and empower CSSD professionals to focus on other critical priorities.

- Automatiq Envoy is a self-navigating mobile robot designed to transport instruments between workstations, reducing manual handling and enabling staff to focus on critical value-added work
- Automatiq Depot acts as an intelligent buffer and ergonomic workstation, improving and balancing the workflow
- Automatiq Loaders, compatible with Getinge’s 8668 Washer-Disinfector and GSS67H Steam Sterilizer, ensure precise, reliable loading and unloading while minimizing contact with instruments
- It’s all orchestrated by the Automatiq Hub software, which enables an interface with third party automation providers and traceability systems, such as Getinge’s T-DOC solution for smarter logistics and consistent, data-driven reprocessing from day one.
