New hub accelerates Getinge's digital healthcare innovation
Getinge has opened a Digital OR Hub in Hamburg, Germany, marking an investment in software development and clinical expertise. The new hub brings together these capabilities to accelerate the path to one intelligent digital ecosystem across the full perioperative workflow. It is Getinge's commitment to leading that transformation.

Hospitals are managing more cases, with greater complexity and more coordination than ever, and one-size-fits-all software isn't keeping up. Built around real surgical workflows, the Hamburg hub is designed to close that gap. From pre-operative planning through intra-operative execution to post-operative care.
"Technology alone is not the goal. What clinical teams need are solutions that are flexible, scalable, and designed for real-life challenges. AI and connected workflows are reshaping how hospitals operate, and the bar for what good software must deliver is rising. For a digital MedTech company at the forefront of that shift, Hamburg is where we build what clinical teams need next”, says Charlotte Enlund, Vice President, Digital Health Solutions.
"This investment is not only about where we work, but how we work. It creates the conditions for closer collaboration, accelerates development, and lays the foundation for a connected OR ecosystem. Delivered as a service designed to support healthcare providers," says Matthias Rath, Director Product Management & Business Development Digital OR Solutions.
Hamburg is where Getinge's digital OR innovation accelerates. Deepening the connection between clinical need and digital capability, across every phase of perioperative care, within one intelligent digital ecosystem.
