The Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons (ANZSCTS) Annual Scientific Meeting is coming to the Gold Coast.
We invite you to join us at the Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons (ANZSCTS) which will be held at the JW Marriott, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, from 4-7 November 2026.
The theme for this year’s meeting is “Forging Future Masters: Cultivating Knowledge, Technique and Resilience in Cardiothoracic Surgery”, and will feature several dynamic international cardiac and thoracic surgeons.
ANZSCTS ASM 2026 will include an Advanced Trainees Workshop and a wet lab, a Cardiothoracic Nurse and Allied Health Education Day, and pre-meeting workshops on specialised surgical topics, all aimed at Trainees and Fellows.
The scientific program will also feature research abstracts and a range of invited local speakers. This year, ANZSCTS ASM 2026 focuses on innovation and evolution. There will be topics to pique the interest of all, from those at the beginning of their training to those with a wealth of experience. The program will also include rapid-fire mini-oral sessions, poster presentations, and several “masterclass” opportunities.
