Utility-efficient washer-disinfector Aquadis 44 helps hospitals reduce costs and meet environmental targets

Getinge today launches Aquadis 44, its latest washer-disinfector designed to minimize utility use and lower operating costs. This innovative model helps healthcare providers decrease their environmental impact while ensuring reliable performance and ease of use.

Hospitals are under growing pressure to reduce their environmental footprint without compromising the quality of care. Getinge’s latest washer-disinfector Aquadis 44 responds to this challenge with a combination of low total cost of ownership, improved ergonomics and patent-pending innovations – including adaptive water filling, a unique system that automatically adjust the amount of water and detergent based on the load. This smart dosing ensures consistent results and contributes to lower utility consumption and reduced CO2 footprint.

“Aquadis 44 represents the next step in sustainable reprocessing. It is not only utility-efficient but also designed with user-friendliness in mind. Hospitals can lower their costs while contributing to their environmental goals,” says Stéphane Le Roy, President Surgical Workflows at Getinge.

Long-term in-house testing confirms that Aquadis 44 delivers consistent cleaning performance while reducing consumption of energy, water, and detergent. Features such as ergonomic loading and single or double-door options support efficient workflows and reduce strain for staff.

“With Aquadis 44, we provide a solution that brings together performance, lower operating resource use and improved ergonomics in one unit,” says Marcus Samuelsson, Product Manager at Getinge.

The launch of Aquadis 44 reflects Getinge’s approach to sustainable innovations for better health.
