Getinge elevates automated endoscope reprocessing with Aquadis Endo 110

Today, Getinge announced the launch of Aquadis Endo 110, a next-generation automated endoscope reprocessor designed to increase processing capacity, simplify workflows and enhance safety for both patients and healthcare professionals. Building on decades of expertise in infection control and sterile reprocessing, Aquadis Endo 110 sets a new benchmark for fast, reliable cleaning and high-level disinfection of flexible endoscopes, helping reduce the risk of healthcare‑associated infections.

As endoscopy procedure volumes continue to rise, endoscopy departments are facing increased operational demands. Aquadis Endo 110 addresses these needs by increasing throughput by up to 36% compared to previous models. With a standard cycle time of 20 minutes and automated channel connections, the system enables faster scope availability while delivering validated cleaning and high‑level disinfection.

“Endoscopy departments are under increasing pressure to ensure consistent, validated endoscope reprocessing while keeping procedures running safely and on time,” says Stéphane Le Roy, President Surgical Workflows at Getinge. “Aquadis Endo 110 is built to deliver reliable and fully traceable reprocessing, helping our customers maintain control, consistency and confidence in demanding daily operations.”

To support consistent daily operation, Aquadis Endo 110 combines ergonomic, error-proof loading and an intuitive user interface. Integrated RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology automates program selection and ensures full traceability for every cycle. Connectivity with Getinge’s FleetView and T-DOC Endo solutions provides real-time access to essential information, enabling more effective workflow management.

To further optimize performance, Getinge has developed a highly concentrated XEN detergent and disinfectant formulations specifically for use with the Aquadis Endo 110. These enable shorter cycles and lower water consumption, helping hospitals manage resources and reach sustainability goals.

“Every patient deserves a clean, disinfected endoscope,” says Don Socha, Segment & Product Line Manager, Endoscopy at Getinge. “Aquadis Endo 110 helps make that possible while reducing complexity for hospital staff. Its validated process and independent monitoring system reinforce confidence in every procedure.”
