We all try to do the right thing, the right way. But the hardest part of this is speaking up when things aren’t right. Sometimes that’s speaking up for ourselves, but more often than not, it’s standing up for others and what is right. Getinge always listens when concerns are raised.

What does it mean for us?

We want an open and transparent work environment where each and every one of us feel comfortable to ask for advice and raise concerns. As such, if you think a person, process or behavior is falling short, speak up and share your concerns. Or if you’re worried you may have made a mistake or be part of something that doesn’t seem right, speak to someone for support on how to take this forward. These concerns will be treated with the gravity they deserve and properly investigated.

You can submit a “Speak Up" report either by phone or via this website. The report will be made available to us by an unaffiliated third party and your confidentiality will be respected; if you choose, you can remain anonymous, where permitted by law. However, we encourage you to identify yourself to create the best possible conditions for an effective investigation.

We are all responsible.

Our policies help us by being clear what doing things right is. We can’t all walk around with them all day, but we can stop and think before we act:

  • Is this ‘right’ even if we’ve always done it?
  • Do people feel safe speaking up?
  • Who can I talk to?
  • Will I get in trouble if I’ve made a mistake?

Getinge is responsible.

Our policies have clear messages everyone should know, whether you’ve read them in their entirety or not.

Getinge encourages a healthy “speak-up culture” that allows us to ask questions and raise concerns without fear of retaliation. We encourage employees, suppliers and other business partners to report incidents of non-compliance and suspected misconduct.

All stakeholders have the opportunity to raise questions and or concerns regarding potential and actual adverse Human Rights impacts by using the Getinge Speak-Up Line.

We will establish grievance mechanisms, and are committed to investigate any concerns, and if we discover any severe adverse Human Rights impacts, we will act appropriately without delay.
