The implementation of EU GMP Annex 1 is driving significant changes in aseptic manufacturing environments. In this presentation, Melissa Gleyen will discuss the impact of Annex 1 on aseptic transfer processes, the transition toward externally operated rapid transfer systems, and the resulting implications for single-use transfer system design. Melissa Gleyen is Product Manager for Getinge’s aseptic transfer solutions, including the original DPTE® Rapid Transfer Port system and the DPTE-BetaBag® single-use transfer solution. Based in Vendôme, France, where these products are manufactured, she has been part of Getinge’s Life Science division for eight years. Her expertise spans aseptic transfer, market analysis, and product management, with a strong focus on helping pharmaceutical manufacturers meet evolving regulatory requirements.
