Several types of sterility monitors exist; but what are the differences, are biological indicators really a better indicator than chemical indicators, and what do they all really indicate? We will be talking about the technology behind sterilization monitoring indicators and how they are designed to indicate if different parametric release metrics have been met. Learn how the chemistry behind the indicators allow for control and specificity to sterilization cycles. This discussion is focusing on chemical indicator technology as well as how they perform relative to biological indicators.
