Getinge Hosts First NAVA Dinner Talk in Singapore
On 4 November 2025, Getinge proudly hosted its first-ever NAVA Dinner Talk at Sofitel Singapore City Centre, bringing together more than 20 healthcare professionals for an insightful evening focused on advancing patient ventilation strategies.
The session was led by Dr. Ju Young Lee from Korea University Anam Hospital, Seoul, who presented on “NAVA Beyond Conventional Ventilation.” Drawing from over 15 years of clinical experience with NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist), Dr. Lee shared valuable perspectives on how this advanced ventilation mode enhances patient outcomes, improves synchrony, and supports lung-protective strategies.
Joining her was Ms. Olena Khomenko, Global Medical Education Manager at Getinge, who further deepened the discussion by sharing best practices and clinical evidence. Her presentation highlighted the benefits and measurable results achieved through NAVA implementation across various healthcare settings.
Beyond the presentations, the event served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals. Attendees actively participated in discussions and raised thought-provoking questions, contributing to a lively and informative Q&A session that deepened everyone’s understanding of NAVA’s potential in critical care environments.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, providing an opportunity for clinicians to connect, share experiences, and explore ways to further enhance patient care through innovation and education.
This inaugural NAVA Dinner Talk marks an important step in fostering a community of practice dedicated to advancing ventilatory care. Getinge remains committed to supporting ongoing education and collaboration that empower healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes for their patients.
