Designed to help clinicians support improved patient outcomes during CABG surgery
Vasoview Hemopro 2 is designed to help clinicians preserve conduit quality for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery by virtually eliminating thermal spread while improving patient satisfaction compared with open vessel harvesting.
In comparison to open vessel harvesting, use of the Vasoview EVH system results in:
Required Vasoview Hemopro 2 Accessories
Reusable accessories which are necessary for use of the Vasoview Hemopro 2 EVH System.
7 mm Extended Length Endoscope
Vasoview Hemopro Power Supply
Vasoview Hemopro 2 Extension Cable
Vasoview Hemopro 2 Adapter Cable
Vasoview Hemopro 2 Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting System
- Offers proximal and distal insufflation that promotes clear visualization in the tunnel.
- The Harvesting Tool can be rotated independently of the Cannula to help avoid excessive manipulation of the target vessel.
7mm Extended Length Endoscope and Dissection Tip
- Indicated for visualization of a surgical cavity and dissection in endoscopic procedures and other minimally invasive surgical procedures.
- Access for vessel harvesting and is primarily indicated for patients undergoing endoscopic vessel harvesting for arterial bypass.
C-Ring and Jaws
- The distal end of the Harvesting Cannula features predictable tool positions with an in-line design.
- The C-Ring is designed to help protect the conduit during the transection of vessel branches.
- The C-Ring has an integrated Scope Washer.
Harvesting Tool Jaws
- Insulated Jaws designed to provide protection against thermal spread to help preserve conduit quality.
- The thermostatic tip cuts and cauterizes in one smooth motion.
- Ability to perform spot cautery/spot coagulation to stop small bleeders in the tunnel wall.
Vasoview Hemopro 2 is designed to help clinicians preserve conduit quality for CABG surgery by virtually eliminating thermal spread.
- Insulated Jaws designed to provide protection against thermal spread.
- Virtually zero thermal spread on the concave side of the Jaws.
EVH is recommended in guidance from several international medical societies:
- ISMICS: Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvest should be the standard of care for patients who require these conduits for coronary revascularization[1]
- EACTS guidelines states: EVH, if performed by an experienced surgeons, should be considered to reduce the incidence of wound complications[3]
- The ACC, AHA and SCAI best practices states: use an endoscopic saphenous vein harvest technique in patients at risk of wound complications.[4]
