Getinge Vivus Biomed Washers provide high water flow and pressure to ensure total coverage of the load for thorough cleaning. The placement and number of spray nozzles deliver continuous flow and pressure for effective cleaning.
A self-cleaning filter prevents debris from blocking spray nozzles that could restrict flow and pressure and reduce cleaning performance. Debris is prevented from being recirculated with the process water, maximizing equipment uptime and reducing the need for maintenance.
Maximized throughput
The flexible modular design of the Getinge Vivus Biomed Washers allow for a washing system optimally scaled for your capacity needs and throughput requirements. The cage and rack, cage and bottle, and tunnel washers are available in standard sizes, but can be customized to fit your facility’s needs.
Wash phase parameters and sequences can be adjusted according to washing requirements, optimizing the cycle time. An optional water saver system further reduces utility consumption and process time, increasing overall throughput.

Safety and ergonomics
Nothing is more important than the safety of your personnel. Getinge Vivus Biomed Washers include key safety features. These include emergency stop push buttons; color coded pull cable (cage & rack washer); visual and audible alarms; emergency safety labeling; and optional door interlocks on pass-through designs. Ergonomic enhancements include counterweight-balanced rising doors on the Cage and Bottle washer, and the ability to install the Cage and Rack washer in a shallow pit for comfortable entry and exit.
Getinge Vivus Tunnel Washers
Maximize efficiency with automatic hydro-spray washers. The Getinge Vivus Tunnel Washer delivers continuous, efficient, high-volume processing of metal or plastic cages and utensils in your vivarium. Units are floor-mounted and may be recessed through one or two walls or installed freestanding. It can operate as a stand-alone unit or in combination with an integrated bedding dump station and/or bedding dispenser.
