This is how we contribute to improving human life. It means that we constantly develop new solutions and refine our offer, with the aim to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible across the whole value chain.
Reducing product environmental impact
We are continuously working to reduce the environmental impact of our products across the value chain. For example within aseptic transfer, to reduce the carbon footprint, we offer a new version of our DPTE-BetaBag® Tyvek with a new beta part made of renewable sources.
Reduced time at the hospital for patients
We have solutions that can help reduce time at the hospital for patients. One example is Torin, a Digital Health solution that can help reduce the occurrence of delayed or cancelled surgery.
Improving work-life for our customers
One example is the collision detection system of our new Maquet Corin OR table, as it protects not only the OR team working around the operating table, but also all equipment often placed underneath the table, such as C-arms or patient warming systems.

We are committed to optimizing the use of energy and natural resources, minimizing our emissions to air and reducing the environmental impact of our waste handling.
Actions
We continue to work towards reducing the impact of our products by applying EcoDesign and life cycle assessments to make smarter choices in materials, energy use, and product performance across the value chain. One example is the launch of Getinge Aquadis 44, a washer disinfector with unique systems that automatically adjust the amount of water and detergent needed based on the load, saving up to 50% on water consumption.
