With its glass solutions, Getinge continues to build on its proven Maquet Variop modular structure, thus ensuring compatibility with existing room systems.
Bright design opportunities at the very highest quality.
Glass creates an appealing atmosphere and a pleasant working environment. The glass wall system offers a variety of design options. The glass elements may be printed with individual motifs and backlit. These design aspects have a positive effect on the well-being of the patients as well as the staff.
Single-color coating and motif print
Individually printed glass wall elements provide a high-class atmosphere. Colors are printed on the back side of the glass elements. It is thus even fully resistant to acids and bases which makes the elements very durable while giving a glossy effect.
Various colors and the use of imagery can optically separate functional areas.
Room designs can be tailored to a variety of different applications: pediatrics, adult care, the operating room, endoscopy room or intensive care unit. The images are printed on the rear side of the glass wall element with a high-resolution digital printing technology. To select the images and matching colors, we developed the web-based Getinge Room Design Tool.
Backlit with high-performance LEDs
Every motif can be backlit using high-performance LEDs, to generate an appealing atmosphere in the room, thus contributing to a better working atmosphere. The illuminated wall element can be used as ambient light or as light source during endoscopic interventions.
